Snack ballarama

Since my chocolate macadamia snack balls I have gone crazy… there are so many different possibilities for flavours you are limited only by your imagination! And since I have started to try and eat paleo again they are a paleo friendly sweet treat 🙂 I’ll share a few of my favourites here…

Chocolate truffle snack balls

(15 balls)

  • 1 c dates
  • ¼ c macadamias, fine
  • 2 ½ tbsp almonds, fine
  • 1 tbsp chia
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 2 tbsp cocoa for rolling

Once balls are made roll them in cocoa for a more dessert-like finish!

Cranberry white choc snack balls

(12 balls)

  • ½ c dried cranberries
  • ½ c dates
  • ¼ c macadamias
  • 1/2 c white choc chips
  • white choc (grated) for rolling

For someone who doesn’t usually like cranberry’s I was a fan of these.

peanut butter cup snack balls

  • 1/3 c peanuts
  • salt
  • 1 c dates
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • ¼ c peanuts for rolling

Nom nom nom I could have (and might have) gobbled these right up!

apricot delight snack balls

(15 balls)

  • 1 c dried apricots
  • ¼ c dates
  • ¼ c cashews
  • 3 tbsp coconut
  • ¼ c coconut for rolling

When (if) you ever feel like you have had too much chocolate these were a delicious sweet treat that wasn’t chocolatey!
